How It Works

Message retrieval is done securely on your device, preventing direct access by WA message recovery software. Instead, notifications received are used to create a backup based on your notification history. When WAMR detects a deleted post, it immediately notifies you.

Limitations

It's important to note that restoring deleted messages does not have an officially supported method. WA Message Recovery offers an alternative approach, but certain situations may arise that render it impossible to recover messages:

1. If the chat is placed on silent or if you view a message on the SMS app before it's deleted, you will not receive a notification. In these cases, WA Message Recovery cannot save the message. To overcome this limitation, it's crucial to download the app now so that you can gain access as soon as possible.
2. If messages are not being saved, it may be due to Android killing Wamr. To resolve this, please remove WAMR from all battery optimization services.
3. WA Message Recovery-WAMR cannot save messages that have not been downloaded. Therefore, if you are offline or have an unstable connection, or if the sender deletes the message before downloading the messaging app, WA Message Recovery-wamr may not be able to back it up.
4. If you are not connected to WiFi, certain media may not be automatically downloaded by your messaging app due to settings. To increase your chances of successful retrieval, modify this behavior in your Messaging app settings under Data and Storage Usage.
